Field L'Orange Gewurztraminer Orange Wine

This is a gewürztraminer like none other! From the Santa Lucia Highlands in California, this gewurztraminer is left to macerate on the skins for 15 days after crushing. This creates a beautiful orange color and creates a different bouquet and palate than one might expect. These are notes of grapefruit and peppercorn and flavors like apricot and peaches. This extended skin contact gewurztraminer white wine also has a surprising hint of tannins that blend nicely into a full body. What a great way to spin a gewürztraminer into something new!
