Watch this special VeroTalk in celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month as we reunited with the four women winemakers for another VeroTalk almost 1 year ago at the beginning of Covid lockdown. We talked about how the pandemic changed their lives and livelihood and what’s on the horizon for the future.
Chatting and sharing their wines with us were Raffaella Merlin of Bugno Martino in Mantua, Italy, Antonella Manuli of La Maliosa based in Maremma Tuscany Italy, Patti Mitchell of Ojai Pacific View in Ojai, California, and Hilde Petrussa of Vigna Petrussa based in Friuli, Italy along with her daughter Francesca Mecchia. We also had the pleasure of having Helen Gallo with us. She is a ‘veteran’ of the wine industry, specialized in Italian wines, who will co-moderate the VeroTalk with Vero founder, Sheila Donohue.
