Our story begins in 1931 when grandfather Silvio, in the midst of his youth, replaces the old family vineyard with Erbaluce.
Our grandfather was among the first in 1967 to request the DOC for Erbaluce. It should be known that Erbaluce, although very limited territorially and not so well known, was among the first Italian wines to request and obtain the DOC!
The years pass, passion is passed down from father to son and, after acquiring mastery in the vineyard and above all in the cellar, Massimiliano carries on the family project and with the help of his wife Elisa, in 2009 they open the family business: Cantine Briamara.
Massimiliano and Elisa, with the help of her sister Carlotta, carry on the company respecting nature, seeking innovation and the best technologies, aiming at quality first in the vineyard and then in the cellar.
Today Cantine Briamara has about 10 hectares, all planted with vines of Erbaluce in different locations.

This special wine is produced from the best Erbaluce grapes and was created in honour of the Savoia ancestor - Umberto I - nicknamed "Il Biancamano". Pleasant at a young age, it evolves in surprising mineral notes and ages quite well.
Refined in big tonneau barrels from Slavonia for dry, fruity notes of raspberry and blackberry . Small yield of 2,500 x year makes this a precious limited production.
Caluso Passito “Pescarolo” is produced only during the best vintages, and exclusively in those extraordinary ones, a small part is reserved to Caluso Passito "Riserva". It is sweet, fresh and sapid with delicate floral notes.
Made with Erbaluce, a grape variety from Northern Piedmont with high acidity, this crisp and creamy Traditionelle Method sparkling wine is rich in subtlety and personality. Ethereal white bubbles, fruity with notes of bread crust and flowers.
